1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms govern access to and use of the Cedar's PC Wallet (the "Wallet"), operated by Cedar's PC Ltd. By requesting an account, activating an approved account, or using the Wallet, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not request or use a Wallet account.

The Wallet is a private, single-store trade-credit system. It is not a bank account, payment account, marketplace, money-transfer service, or payment processor. The Wallet records store credit and related transactions; it does not hold bank funds or payment-card credentials.

2. Account approval and eligibility

Wallet accounts are available only with Cedar's PC approval. Submitting an account request does not guarantee approval. Cedar's PC may require an in-store visit and photo identification to confirm identity before activating or changing an account.

You must provide accurate and current information and must not impersonate another person. If a person cannot legally provide valid consent or accept these Terms on their own, Cedar's PC may require an appropriate parent, guardian, or other authorized representative before creating or maintaining the account.

Cedar's PC may decline, suspend, hold, deactivate, or close an account where reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud or abuse, violation of these Terms, legal requirements, or protection of the Wallet and its users. Where practical and appropriate, Cedar's PC may provide information about steps required to restore access.

3. Cedar Credit

"Cedar Credit" is store-issued trade credit recorded in the Wallet. It is not legal tender, is not a bank deposit, and is not a transferable payment instrument. Cedar Credit may be redeemed with Cedar's PC and may be eligible for cash-out only under the rules in this section.

3.1 No expiry

Cedar Credit does not expire under Cedar's PC's current policy. Deactivation of portal access does not, by itself, cause an existing Cedar Credit balance to expire.

3.2 Non-transferable

Cedar Credit cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, assigned, pooled, or moved between customer Wallet accounts. Cedar's PC may correct an administrative posting error through the ledger without treating that correction as a customer transfer.

3.3 Cash-out policy

Cedar Credit may be cashed out at 50% of the represented Canadian-dollar (CAD) value shown on the user's My Wallet page at the time the cash-out is approved and processed.

Cash-out availability is not guaranteed on demand. Cedar's PC may defer, limit, or refuse a cash-out where reasonably necessary because of cash on hand, operating budget, account holds, suspected fraud or security concerns, legal or regulatory obligations, or other lawful business reasons. If a cash-out is not completed, the corresponding Cedar Credit remains on the Wallet unless another authorized ledger transaction applies.

A completed cash-out is recorded as a ledger transaction. Cedar's PC may require identity verification and a signature before completing a cash-out.

4. Ledger, balances and corrections

The Wallet is ledger-first. Your displayed balance is calculated from individual transaction records rather than stored as an editable balance. Posted transactions are not edited or deleted through the normal Wallet workflow. If a mistake is identified, Cedar's PC corrects it using a recorded reversal or authorized adjustment so the history remains auditable.

If you believe your balance or transaction history is incorrect, contact Cedar's PC promptly. Cedar's PC may review the underlying records and make a documented correction where appropriate.

5. Trade-ins

Trade-in values are determined by Cedar's PC at the counter based on the item, condition, and other relevant factors. The Wallet itself does not automatically determine the final trade-in value.

Once a trade-in is approved and posted to the Wallet, the posted record is treated as final. Any later correction is made through a separate recorded reversal or adjustment rather than by rewriting the original transaction.

You are responsible for confirming the transaction details presented to you before approval. Cedar's PC may require additional verification for high-risk, unusual, or suspected fraudulent transactions.

6. Redemption and cash-out verification

Redemption of Cedar Credit, and any cash-out of Cedar Credit, may require government-issued or other acceptable photo identification presented in person and a signature confirming the transaction. Cedar's PC does not store a copy or image of the identification in the Wallet; the system records only that the required identity check was confirmed.

A completed redemption or cash-out becomes part of the ledger history. If a correction is required, it is handled through a recorded adjustment or reversal.

7. Levels, perks, rates and badges

The Wallet may show account levels, trade-in percentages, exchange or conversion rates, perks and badges. These are Cedar's PC program features and may be changed, added, removed, or replaced by Cedar's PC. Published changes will be communicated through available Wallet notices, including the What's New area where applicable.

Changes do not rewrite completed transaction values that were already posted to the ledger. A change in a displayed conversion rate may affect the represented CAD value shown for future use, including the amount on which a future cash-out is calculated.

8. Bookings

The Wallet may allow you to request or book trade-in appointments from published store availability. A booking reserves a time slot but does not guarantee a trade-in value, transaction amount, or acceptance of any item. You or Cedar's PC may cancel a booking. The system is designed to prevent the same available slot from being double-booked.

9. Messages and notifications

Messages sent through the Wallet are business communications and business records. Authorized Cedar's PC staff may view and respond to customer message threads as necessary to operate the service.

The Wallet may send service-related notifications about account activity, credit changes, bookings, message replies, security, and level changes. These operational messages are different from optional marketing communications. Marketing communications, if introduced, will use separate consent where required by law.

10. Account and security responsibilities

• Keep your password and any authentication codes private.

• Use the Wallet only through your own account and do not attempt to access another customer, staff, or Owner account.

• Keep your email address, phone number and other contact information reasonably current.

• Notify Cedar's PC promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.

• Do not interfere with the Wallet, bypass security controls, exploit vulnerabilities, automate abusive requests, scrape protected data, or use the service for fraud or unlawful activity.

Customer two-step sign-in may be offered as an optional security feature. Cedar's PC may require additional verification when reasonably necessary to protect an account or investigate suspicious activity.

11. Personal information and privacy

Cedar's PC collects and uses personal information to operate and secure the Wallet. The Cedar's PC Wallet Privacy and Data Protection Policy explains what information is collected, why it is used, how it is protected, when it may be disclosed, and how to request access or correction. That Policy is available from the Wallet at any time.

12. Service availability and changes

Cedar's PC may maintain, update, change, suspend, or discontinue Wallet features where reasonably necessary. Temporary outages, maintenance, security actions, or third-party service interruptions may affect access. Cedar's PC will use reasonable efforts to preserve ledger integrity and restore service, but continuous uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

13. Intellectual property and permitted use

The Wallet software, branding, interface and store-created content are owned by or licensed to Cedar's PC. You receive a limited, personal, revocable right to use the Wallet for its intended account functions. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Wallet except where applicable law gives you a right that cannot be excluded.

14. Limitation and non-waivable rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cedar's PC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses caused by ordinary service interruptions or unauthorized use resulting from a user's failure to protect their credentials. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

15. Suspension, deactivation and closure

You may ask Cedar's PC to deactivate your Wallet portal access. Deactivation stops portal access but does not automatically erase transaction history, audit records, or other records that Cedar's PC reasonably needs for business, security, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal purposes. Any remaining Cedar Credit continues to follow the rules in Section 3.

Cedar's PC may suspend or close an account as described in Section 2. Closing an account does not rewrite previously posted ledger entries and does not, by itself, create a right to an immediate cash-out.

16. Changes to these Terms

Cedar's PC may update these Terms when the Wallet, store policies, or legal requirements change. The Wallet will display the current version and effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, Cedar's PC may require renewed acceptance before continued use.

17. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory rights that apply to you. Questions about these Terms or your Wallet should be directed to:

18. Acceptance record

For electronic acceptance, Cedar's PC may record the Terms version, date and time of acceptance, and the account or account request associated with the acceptance. This record is used to show which version was accepted. Material changes may require a new acceptance record.
